Travel
The nearest airports to St Helens are Liverpool (LPL) and Manchester (MAN). Liverpool airport is smaller, and has flights from many european destinations, if you are coming from further afield Manchester might be a better option.
The nearest major train stations are Runcorn and Liverpool Lime Street which are on the West Coast Main Line from London Euston.
It will be best to get taxis from Liverpool airport and the train station to the hotels. From Manchester airport you will be able to get a taxi for approximately £50. Other options are available, including a train from the airport that stops at St Helens Junction station and you can take a taxi from there. You can always contact us for advice!
Driving directions to the hotels are included below. As the hotels are not close to public transport links, this might be a good option.

From the M6: Leave the M6 at junction 23 and take the A580 (East Lancs Road) towards Liverpool. After approx 10 miles, take a left at Moorgate Road (just before the junction with the M57) and then take the 1st exit at the roundabout towards Knowsley, turn left onto School Lane.

From M6, J23: Take the A580 towards Liverpool, after 4 miles turn left on Green Leach Ln (A571), at the first set of traffic lights turn left onto Standish St, at the second set of lights turn right into Hall St (see map). Parking is best on Parade St but it is metered.
From M62, J7: Take the A570 towards St Helens, stay on this road through several roundabouts, at the mining monument roundabout turn right (3rd exit), at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (up the hill), then turn immediately left onto Corporation St, turn right onto Hall St in front of the church.

From Parade St turn left onto Hall St, at the first set of lights turn left onto Standish St, at the T Junction with the A571 turn left at the lights, at the mini roundabout take the 2nd exit, then at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (King St), at the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A58 towards Liverpool. Contine on the A58 (eventually you will pass Knowsley Safari Park on your right — this is NOT where you are going!). At the roundabout after the Safari Park take the 4th exit onto A57 and then the 3rd exit of the next roundabout onto Knowlsey Ln. Finally, after approx 0.5 miles turn right onto a small road (George Hale Avenue), continue down the small track to the Hall.
To Remember!
There will be a bus between the hotels and the church and then the church and Knowsley Hall. There will also be a shuttle service back to the hotels after the reception. Let us know in your rsvp if you will be using the bus.
